Through Jing Lens, my creative work extends into writing — including Travel + Hotel Review, interior design reflections, and personal narratives. Each piece synthesizes meticulous research, aesthetic observation, and cultural context with genuine personal sentiment and introspection, making writing both a nuanced and transcendent experience.
In 2022, I embarked on an Interior Design journey that evolved from an experimental project into a significant multi-year venture. Over three years of curation, collection, and execution, this journey culminated in the unveiling of my home tour video project in 2024, bringing my vision to life.

Hi, everyone. I’m Jingyu Chen—a podcaster, writer, and the creator of Life Designer—my eponymous podcast and lifestyle platform dedicated to wholesome, intentional living and genuine human connection. Through Jing Lens—my perspective shaped by years of exploring intellect, beauty, and humility, I engage in a multitude of creative pursuits across podcasting and writing.
My podcast, Life Designer, features in-depth conversations with incredible talents from around the globe—artists, creatives, entrepreneurs, professionals, and everything in between— It’s their storytelling about how they became their own life designers! Alongside the English podcast, I also host a Japanese Podcast, 私の生き方, exploring parallel questions of purpose, intention, and lived experience across cultures.

In 2025, I reached another milestone with the publication of my book, Life Designer with Jingyu Chen—A Journey Toward Discipline, Mastery, and Radiance, my own transformative journey of redesigning my life through reclaiming clarity, restoring intention, and rediscovering the beauty in life.
At the same year , I also began exploring a new form of podcasting — one that unfolds within architecturally magnificent spaces, where storytelling is shaped not only by conversation but also by environment, atmosphere, and place. A podcast recorded at the Gajoen Hotel in Tokyo marked inauguration of this approach, allowing the architecture, design, and inner grandeur of the space to become part of the story itself, and from it, my vision for the future of podcasting began to emerge.
Life Designer extends beyond a podcast into a lifestyle — a way of observing, living, and becoming. It sits at the intersection of intellect, aesthetics, and shared humanity; it mirrors a journey that each individual strives to carve out a unique, authentic, and unapologetic trajectory.
Here, I welcome fellow life designers to gather, connect, and move toward radiance — together

Making the Improbable Inevitable
How Architecture Shapes the Way We Live, Remember, and Dream
"Architecture was my rebellion."
"Even if we're working on a small project, we want to we want to extract as much joy, as much joy and beauty and invention out of that small opportunity, no matter how insignificant you might think the scale is."
"The idea comes first. Tools are invented to build the vision — not the other way around.”
“By allowing things that are unfamiliar to exist, you experience joy because it makes you think and makes you feel things that the rest of the world that is undifferentiated or not thoughtful, can do. So be open to unfamiliar things and appreciate the parts of our city and our world that are different. ”
